Job Summary
Automotive Mechanics inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services at Mavis’s Elmira location, including undercar repairs such as brakes, struts, and shocks, performing state inspections, changing oil and filters, checking fluids, replacing worn parts, and mounting/dismounting tires. Requires escalating lifting of items over 50 pounds and prior experience with automotive repair; must have a toolbox of personal tools. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or equivalent
- Possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs
