Job Summary
Automotive Mechanic needed at Mavis Tires & Brakes in Endicott, NY. Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, and performing undercar repairs (brakes, struts, shocks), conducting state-mandated inspections, changing oil/filters, checking fluids, replacing worn parts, and mounting/dismounting/balancing tires. Requires 18+, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and 2+ years of automotive repair experience or equivalent; extensive personal tool collection required. ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) and state inspection licenses preferred. Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or equivalent
- Possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools

- ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1)
- Suspension and Steering (A4)
- Brakes (A5)
- State inspection license(s)
