Job Summary
As Mavis's leaders in undercar repairs, Automotive Mechanics inspect, diagnose and perform a wide variety of automotive services, including brakes, struts and shocks, and complete state-mandated inspections; perform oil and filter changes, fluid checks, part replacements, and tire dismount/mount/rotate/balance; bring a toolbox of personal tools to the job; maintain safety and quality standards and pursue career growth and on-the-job training.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
- State inspection license(s) preferred
- ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5) preferred
- Must possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, push/pull heavy items (>50 pounds)
