Job Summary
Automotive Mechanics needed for full-time roles at Mavis Tires & Brakes in the Covington/Social Circle, GA area. Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, and performing a wide range of automotive services and undercar repairs (brakes, struts, shocks); completing state inspections; oil and filter changes; fluids checks; replacing worn parts; dismounting/mounting/rotating/balancing tires. Candidate must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift items over 50 pounds, and have a toolbox of personal tools. Preferred ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) and state inspection licenses. On-the-job training provided; competitive weekly pay with benefits. Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance (or equivalent)
- Extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs
