Job Summary
Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at a state-of-the-art automotive service, repair, and tire sales center in the Metuchen, NJ area. Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, and performing a wide variety of undercar repairs (brakes, struts, shocks), completing state inspections, changing oil and filters, checking fluids, replacing worn parts, and mounting/balancing tires. The role requires standing, walking, bending, lifting items over 50 pounds, and performing repetitive movements. Preferred qualifications include state inspection licenses and ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5). Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
