Job Summary
Automotive Mechanics perform undercar repair work (brakes, struts, and shocks), inspect and diagnose vehicles, complete state inspections, and handle oil/filters, fluids, parts replacement, tire mounting/balancing. The role requires 18+ years old, legal work authorization in the U.S., and around 2 years of automotive repair experience or equivalent, plus an extensive personal toolset. Preferred qualifications include state inspection licenses and ASE Certifications in G1, A4, and A5. This is a full-time position at Mavis in the Dundalk, MD area, with opportunities for training and career growth.
Required Qualifications
- (1) be at least 18 years of age
- (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States
- (3) possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
- (4) possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs
