Job Summary
Automotive Mechanics needed for full-time roles at Mavis at Discount Prices in the Merrillville, IN area. Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, and performing a wide range of automotive services focused on undercar repairs such as brakes, struts, and shocks; performing state inspections; oil and filter changes; fluid checks; part replacements; and tire mounting/balancing. Must be able to lift heavy items (over 50 pounds) and work with a personal toolbox. Requires 18+ years old, legal authorization to work in the U.S., and 2 years of relevant experience/training. Preferred ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) and state inspection licenses.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or equivalent
- extensive toolbox of personal tools for undercar repairs
