Job Summary
Automotive Mechanic needed to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of automotive services at Mavis Tires & Brakes in Islandia, NY. Responsibilities include undercar repairs (brakes, struts, shocks), state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, fluid checks, parts replacement, and tire mounting/balancing. Must have a personal toolbox and be able to lift heavy items; ASE certifications and state inspection licenses are preferred. Required Qualifications
- 18+ years of age
- legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance (or equivalent education/experience)
- extensive personal tools for undercar repairs
