Automotive Mechanics

Automotive Mechanics perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks, and are responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and performing a wide variety of automotive services. Duties include completing state inspections, oil and filter changes, checking fluids, replacing worn parts, and dismounting/mounting/rotating/balancing tires. The role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling and other movements, with the ability to lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds. Candidates must be at least 18, legally able to work in the United States, and have about 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair or an equivalent combination of education and experience; an extensive toolbox of personal tools is required. Preferred qualifications include state inspection licenses and ASE certifications in G1 (Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair), A4 (Suspension and Steering), and A5 (Brakes).
