Job Summary
Automotive Mechanics needed at Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in the Long Beach/Rockville Centre, NY area. Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, and performing a wide range of automotive services, with emphasis on undercar repairs (brakes, struts, shocks), completing state inspections, changing oil and filters, fluid checks, replacing worn parts, and mounting/balancing tires. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50+ pounds; 18+ years old; legally authorized to work in the United States; 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair or equivalent; own a toolbox. Preferred ASE Certifications (G1, A4, A5) and state inspection licenses.
