Automotive Mechanics

Automotive Mechanics inspect, diagnose and perform a wide range of undercar repairs (including brakes, struts and shocks). Responsibilities include completing state-mandated inspections, changing oil and filters, checking fluids, replacing worn parts, and dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires. This full-time position is located in the Albany/Albany-area NY region (Bethlehem, NY area) with Mavis Tire. Applicants must be at least 18, legally authorized to work in the United States, and have 2 years of automotive repair experience or an equivalent mix of education and hands-on training; possession of an extensive toolbox is required. Preferred qualifications include state inspection licenses and ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5). The role requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, reaching, and regular lifting of items over 50 pounds.
