Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles, including undercar repairs like brakes, struts, and shocks. Complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and handle tire duties such as dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing. Perform repeated movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and regularly lift items over 50 pounds. This role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, and reaching. Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance
- Ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
- Extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair
- Must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- State inspection license(s)
- ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1)
- ASE Certifications in Suspension and Steering (A4)
- ASE Certifications in Brakes (A5)
