Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles, including undercar repairs for brakes, struts, and shocks. Complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and handle tire services such as dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing. Perform repeated movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and regularly lift items over 50 pounds. This full-time role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, and performing repetitive tasks. Join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the East Meadow, NY area.
Required Qualifications
- at least 18 years of age
- legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance
- ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
- extensive tool box of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs
- available for immediate interview
- walk in during store hours
Desired Qualifications
- state inspection license(s)
- ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1)
- ASE Certifications in Suspension and Steering (A4)
- ASE Certifications in Brakes (A5)
