Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, and perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks on customer vehicles. Complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and handle tire operations such as dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing. Maintain a personal toolbox of tools required for daily maintenance and repair tasks. Full-time position with competitive weekly pay including incentives. Requires 2 years of automotive repair experience and personal tools; ASE certifications preferred. Located in White Plains, NY.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance
- Possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair
- Must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- State inspection license(s)
- ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1)
- ASE Certifications in Suspension and Steering (A4)
- ASE Certifications in Brakes (A5)
