Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles, including undercar repairs, brakes, struts, and shocks. Complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and manage tire services such as dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing. Maintain an extensive toolbox of personal tools required for these tasks. This full-time role in Lawrence, NY requires standing, walking, and lifting items over 50 pounds. Candidates must be at least 18, legally authorized to work in the US, and possess 2 years of automotive repair experience or equivalent training. Preferred qualifications include a state inspection license and ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance, Suspension, and Brakes.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance
- Ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
- Extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair
- Must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds
