Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customer vehicles, including undercar repairs for brakes, struts, and shocks. Complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and handle tire services like dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing. Perform repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and regularly lift items over 50 pounds. This full-time role requires standing, walking, bending, and kneeling, with open interviews available seven days a week. Join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art service centers in the Hazlet, NJ area.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance
- Possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair
- Must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- State inspection license(s)
- ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1)
- ASE Certifications in Suspension and Steering (A4)
- ASE Certifications in Brakes (A5)
