Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles, including undercar repairs, brake work, and tire rotation. Complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and balance tires using an extensive personal tool box. This full-time role in the Gonzales, LA area requires standing, lifting over 50 pounds, and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance. Candidates must be at least 18, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and possess two years of experience or relevant training. Walk-in interviews are available seven days a week.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance
- Possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair
- Must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- State inspection license(s)
- ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1)
- ASE Certifications in Suspension and Steering (A4)
- ASE Certifications in Brakes (A5)
