Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, and perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks on customer vehicles. Complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and handle tire operations such as dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing. Maintain an extensive toolbox of personal tools required for these duties. This role involves standing, walking, and lifting items over 50 pounds. Full-time employment offers weekly pay with incentives, health benefits, and on-the-job training.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance
- Possess an extensive tool box of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair
- Must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- State inspection license(s)
- ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1)
- ASE Certifications in Suspension and Steering (A4)
- ASE Certifications in Brakes (A5)
