Job Summary
Perform repairs on vehicle systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Verify serviceability through test drives while adjusting controls and ensuring compliance with state vehicle standards. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to update customers on repair progress and maintain accurate records of all service and repairs. Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications and manage inventory by ordering supplies and verifying receipt. Maintain shop equipment through troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. This role requires a valid driver's license, ability to work 8-10 hour days including overtime, and physical capability to lift up to 100 pounds. Dearth Automotive is a progressive dealer group seeking an experienced technician with ASE certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience in the automotive field
- Valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one
- Able to provide personal tools
- Ability to work in an environment with frequent exposure to outside weather elements
- Ability to work 8-10 hour days, including overtime hours as needed
- Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, walk and sit on a regular basis with frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds
