Job Summary
Conduct thorough inspections and perform necessary repairs on pre-owned vehicles using manual and computerized diagnostic equipment. Follow checklists to document safety issues, evaluate repair costs, and execute maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Perform test drives to verify repair resolution and collaborate with the Buyer on external shop deliveries. Maintain accurate records of invoices and reports while managing shop supply inventory. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders throughout the inspection and repair process.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of 1 year of mechanical hands-on experience
- ASE Certification
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively
- A valid state driver's license
- limited moving violations within the last 3 years
- Proficient computer skills
