Job Summary
Perform hands-on work on customer vehicles daily, including brake jobs, suspension components, alignments, front end parts, preventive maintenance, tire repair, and oil changes. Direct other shop personnel while maintaining safety standards amidst moderate to loud noises, dust, and exhaust fumes. Stand up to eight hours per day, bending and lifting up to 70 pounds frequently. Communicate with customers and shop staff throughout the shift. Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician / mechanic experience
- Possess current and valid Driver's license
- Ability to stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and walk to gain access to various areas of the building
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day with full range of motion with arms and hands
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds frequently
- Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
