Job Summary
Automotive Mechanic Inspection Tech at Carvana in Greenfield, IN. Performs a full range of automotive repairs from light maintenance to heavy engine work, with diagnostics on vehicles including electric and hybrid systems. Duties include repairing wheels/axles and climate-control systems (AC/heater cores), using state-of-the-art tools in Carvana's Inspection Centers, and participating in ASE and tool reimbursement programs. Overtime may be required based on business needs; position reports to Carvana’s Inspection Center network with various automotive roles available depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess a valid drivers license
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Must be able to operate vehicle equipment and tools
- Scope includes general to complex repairs on multiple makes/models, including electric and hybrid vehicles
- Some roles may require background checks (MVR)
