Job Summary
Dismantle and remove high-value vehicle parts (including hybrid batteries, catalytic converters, airbags) and stage cores for vendor/customer pickups. Safely operate hand and power tools, and use a forklift or order picker as part of daily duties. Prepare and package parts, complete related paperwork, and maintain accurate inventory and labeling. Collaborate with Sales and Dispatch, uphold safety standards in a production yard/warehouse, and perform other duties as assigned. This is a full-time role located in Orlando requiring physical effort and adherence to PPE and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED (preferred)
- A working knowledge of automotive parts
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel
- Basic written and verbal communication
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and potentially 100 pounds
- Ability to operate a forklift or order picker
- Experience with basic tools and safety procedures in a warehouse/yard environment
- Strong attention to safety and inventory control
- Travel may be required periodically (overnight stays contingent on position requirements)
