Job Summary

Diagnose vehicle problems using diagnostic equipment, perform routine maintenance like oil changes and brake inspections, and repair faulty components including engines, transmissions, and suspension parts. Conduct vehicle inspections to identify safety concerns, explain repair needs to customers, and maintain accurate service records while following safety procedures and manufacturer standards. Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized. This role involves working in automotive repair shops, dealerships, or the field for Monday through Friday, with a requirement for a valid Commercial Driver's License and Medical Examiner's Certificate due to DOT safety-sensitive functions.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC)
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Acceptable background check results
  • Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance levels
  • Ability to obtain access to military installations
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Automotive technical training or vocational certification
  • ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Previous automotive repair experience
