Job Summary
Automotive Technician/Mechanic responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles across domestic and foreign makes, performing courtesy vehicle inspections, working with the service department to communicate concerns, and collaborating with other technicians to meet deadlines and deliver distinguished results. Requires a strong customer-service mindset, safety and cleanliness discipline, and a commitment to ongoing career development. The role emphasizes teamwork, correct use of diagnostic equipment and factory scan tools, and maintaining a high level of professionalism and guest satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience as automotive technician/mechanic
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- Be able to drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Physically able to occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Ability to work in tight spaces and stand for long portions of the day
- Experience with diagnostic tools and computer navigation
