Job Summary
Automotive Maryland State Inspector role focused on performing Maryland state inspections, diagnosing vehicle issues, and communicating repairs. Responsibilities include examining vehicles, coordinating with shop foreman/service advisor, providing labor time estimates, maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards, documenting repairs, mentoring trainees, attending training, and staying current with factory/technical bulletins. Requires Maryland State Inspection License, high school diploma/GED, 0–3 months related experience, legal work authorization in the USA, background/MVR/drug screening clearance, and a valid drivers license. Compensation based on experience; range $50K-$200K+. Required Qualifications
- Maryland State Inspection License Required
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months of related experience and/or training
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
