Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is an entry level position within Firestone Complete Auto Care, performing diagnostic and repair duties on basic automotive systems such as brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical, plus oil changes, tire maintenance, battery installation, shock absorbers, and road-testing vehicles. The role emphasizes on-the-job training and potential ASE certifications, with responsibilities including diagnosing and repairing components, performing maintenance services, and ensuring vehicle safety and reliability. This position offers full- and part-time benefits from day one and requires a valid driver’s license; prior automotive service experience is preferred. Required Qualifications
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks
- Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles
- Experience in automotive service industry preferred
- Reading, writing, and math skills
