Job Summary
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles to dealership and OEM standards as a Main Line Technician. Perform maintenance and repair work efficiently, diagnose vehicle concerns using advanced diagnostic tools, provide clear labor and time estimates for additional repairs, and communicate technical findings to Service Advisors and management. Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs, maintain thorough repair documentation, and promote a 'fix it right the first time' mindset on every repair. Requires ASE certification (minimum 6 active ASEs), a valid in-state driver’s license, ability to pass background checks and drug screens, authorization to work in the United States, and 2+ years of hands-on experience with engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC. The role emphasizes continuous learning, OEM training, teamwork with advisors and parts, and delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Required Qualifications
- ASE certification with a minimum of 6 active ASEs
- Valid in-state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- 2+ years of hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing complex automotive systems
