Automotive License and Title Clerk

Process all vehicles for registration in the state where they will be titled and prepare tax and title documents. Submit legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles, verify collected funds and lienholder payments before processing applications, and check for accuracy in all information. Prepare payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins, bill out dealer trades, and compile certificates of origin. Maintain a system to verify out-of-state titles and report outstanding title status to management monthly. Requires 1-3 years of license and title experience, automotive dealership familiarity, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
