Job Summary
Lead Technician at Bridgestone BSRO responsible for diagnosing and repairing drivability and electrical systems, including brakes, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, suspension/alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems. Communicates technical diagnoses to non-mechanical customers, stays current with evolving automotive tech through paid formal training, and trains/mentors technicians to improve customer care and satisfaction. Requires ongoing pursuit of A.S.E. certifications (at least five of A1–A8 within two years); must have a valid driver’s license; strong diagnostic, communication, and math skills; benefits include competitive pay, paid time off, health coverage, 401(k), and ASE opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid automobile driver’s license
- Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair
- Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair
- Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair
- Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people
- Reading, writing and math skills
- A.S.E. certifications in at least five of A1–A8 within first two years of employment (tests/fees paid by company)
