Job Summary
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries regarding computer systems, software, and hardware. Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools while monitoring networks to ensure optimal performance. Manage and resolve network issues and related hardware problems, then document internal procedures and write relevant reports. Assist in training users in software and hardware usage and best practices. Travel up to three times a week to support five stores across West Texas.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms (e.g., Windows, macOS)
- Good communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks or priorities effectively
- Must be able to travel up to three times a week
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field is a plus
