Job Summary
Execute installations on commercial fleet vehicles following approved SOPs and work instructions while maintaining consistent cycle times. Ensure all installations meet quality standards and acceptance criteria by performing self-checks, reporting defects, and supporting rework activities. Retrieve materials from on-site storage, verify parts prior to installation, and maintain a clean work area. Use tools safely, follow Job Hazard Analysis procedures, and properly wear PPE at all times. Record installation activities and capture evidence using PAC digital tools for traceability. Flag non-ready vehicles and defer installations as needed. Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and provide feedback on process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in automotive, mechanical, or installation-related roles
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work NIGHT SHIFT
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time across the U.S
- English Communication: All employees must be able to communicate effectively in English during operations
- Work Authorization: All employees must have valid legal authorization to work in the US
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in vehicle upfitting, retrofits, or fleet installation programs
- Familiarity with structured production or assembly environments
- Experience using digital tools for reporting or work tracking
- Basic electrical/mechanical troubleshooting experience
