Job Summary
General Manager at Caliber Auto Glass in Chicago oversees the center's overall operation including risk management, teammate development, client metrics, production, and administration. Responsible for rewarding and retaining talent, monitoring financial performance metrics, and ensuring repairs are performed safely, thoroughly, and profitably in accordance with Caliber’s SOPs and insurer/industry guidelines. Requires advanced understanding of estimates, OEM repair processes, repair and scanning procedures, ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, and strong customer service. Physical requirements include frequent movement and lifting up to 50 lbs. Background checks and MVR checks are part of pre-employment screenings. I-CAR and ASE trainings/certifications are mentioned as part of growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Management Experience in the automotive industry or a mobile business
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under our company insurance policy
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks
