Job Summary
Conduct non-technical automotive service repairs including oil changes, tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance, and rotation. Utilize the Multi-point Inspection and Repair Order to document vehicle condition while maintaining shop cleanliness across the service area, tire racks, showroom, and exterior. Transport customers, parts, and supplies using the company vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety procedures. Perform State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable and report concerns to the direct supervisor. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to stand eight hours daily, and flexibility for weekend schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's license
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends as needed
- Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
- Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
- Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently
Desired Qualifications
- Possesses a general understanding of under the hood, mechanical and under carriage assemblies is preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
