Job Summary
Conduct non-technical automotive service repairs including oil changes, tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance, and rotations. Utilize the Multi-point Inspection and Repair Order to document vehicle condition and perform State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable. Maintain shop cleanliness across the service area, tire racks, and showroom. Transport customers and pick up parts, supplies, and tires from vendors or the corporate office using the company vehicle. Work flexible schedules including weekends as needed while adhering to all safety procedures and reporting concerns to the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's license
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand up to eight hours per day in the shop
- Ability to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day
- Full range of motion with arms and hands
- Ability to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently
- Ability to communicate with customers and shop personnel
- Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Possesses a general understanding of under the hood, mechanical and under carriage assemblies
