Job Summary
Perform tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance, rotation, and oil changes while utilizing Multi-point Inspection orders to document vehicle conditions. Transport customers, pick up parts and supplies from vendors or the corporate office, and conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections following all company and state guidelines. Maintain shop cleanliness across the service area, tire racks, showroom, and exterior. Adhere to safety procedures, report concerns to the supervisor, and communicate with customers and shop personnel. Work flexible schedules including weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's license
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends as needed
- Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
- Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop
- Walk to gain access to various areas of the building
- Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day
- Full range of motion with arms and hands
- Ability to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly
- Lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently
- Communicate with customers and shop personnel
Desired Qualifications
- Possesses a general understanding of under the hood, mechanical and under carriage assemblies
- High School Diploma or equivalent
