Job Summary
Oversee daily operations at a high-volume automotive dealership, manage and motivate a team of managers across sales, service, and office/finance departments; recruit, hire, and train managers to meet profitability targets; help create affordable advertising campaigns to boost sales and brand visibility; participate in executive meetings to establish sales processes and drive growth; review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for accuracy and compliance with regulations; ensure customer satisfaction metrics are met and uphold industry standards while maintaining appropriate vehicle inventory.
Required Qualifications
- Three or more years of experience in a sales manager or general manager position for a dealership or auto group
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
- high school diploma or GED equivalent
- State-issued driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Strong communication skills; leadership ability; interpret profit and loss statements
