Job Summary
Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire and retain automotive dealer clients while building relationships with dealership owners and key decision-makers. Oversee the servicing of the automotive floorplan portfolio by monitoring account performance, addressing client concerns, and providing training on financing solutions. Manage associated risks through the development of credit assessment models, compliance monitoring, and analysis of loan balances and payment trends. This role requires 75% travel, including overnight trips, and is open to bilingual candidates with a BA/BS and three years of finance or sales experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual (English, Spanish)
- Knowledge of the automotive industry (various sectors)
- Strong financial acumen with working knowledge of key financial tools and terminology
- Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with clients, collaborate with internal team members, and external partners at various levels within the organization
- Strong time management skills with ability to manage deadlines
- Strong negotiation and collection skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a remote environment
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- BA/BS in related field and 3 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- 2+ years related experience in finance, sales, account management, and/or collections required
- Travel: Greater than 75% with some overnight travel required
- Ability to travel, fly, drive
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Valid driver's license required for this position
