Job Summary
Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire and retain automotive dealer clients by building relationships with dealership owners and presenting financing solutions. Oversee the servicing of the automotive floorplan portfolio, monitoring account performance, addressing client concerns, and providing training on financing services. Manage associated risks by evaluating dealership creditworthiness, maintaining risk assessment models, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Conduct market research to align offerings with industry trends and drive portfolio growth. Requires bilingual English/Spanish skills, 2+ years in finance or sales, and 75% travel including overnight trips. Base pay is $50,000 with performance-based bonuses and commissions.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual (English, Spanish)
- Knowledge of the automotive industry (various sectors)
- Strong financial acumen with working knowledge of key financial tools and terminology
- Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with clients, collaborate with internal team members, and external partners at various levels within the organization
- Strong time management skills with ability to manage deadlines
- Strong negotiation and collection skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a remote environment
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- BA/BS in related field and 3 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- 2+ years related experience in finance, sales, account management and/or collections required
- Travel: Greater than 75% with some overnight travel required
- Ability to travel, fly, drive
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Valid driver's license required for this position
