Job Summary
Lead a team of mechanics to maintain a safe, reliable, and cost-efficient UPS fleet, supervise preventative maintenance inspections, analyze equipment/system failures to determine root causes, coordinate repairs with internal and external groups, ensure adequate parts and tire inventory, adhere to purchasing limits and expense procedures, and conduct performance evaluations while driving cost-saving strategies and maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of mechanical fundamentals, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair to vehicle or aircraft fleet operation
- Ability to manage equipment repair and oversee the correction of problems with tools, machinery, and other standard technical equipment
- Ability to manage inspections, physical assets, and working relationships with vendors
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S. or eligible to work in the United States
