Job Summary
Perform repairs on each repair order adhering to dealership, state, and factory standards while addressing customer concerns through diagnosis, repair, and quality control to meet Fixed First Visit expectations. Execute Electronic and multi-point inspections on every vehicle, including draining and refilling engine oil, replacing filters, rotating tires, checking tire pressure, and inspecting brake pads. Notify the Service Advisor immediately regarding unexpected issues, time estimates, or additional problems. Master the Dealer Management System for timekeeping, work distribution, and communication, while maintaining a clean workspace and accurately accounting for all dealership-owned tools.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Currently attending or a recent graduate of a recognized Automotive / Technical School
- Have and maintain an excellent driving record
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing including a background check and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Prior automotive technician work experience
- Factory trained
