Job Summary
Repair equipment using appropriate tools to conform to U-Haul standards while effectively following work-order directions and performing tasks in a timely manner. Diagnose operating errors, determine causes, and clearly identify issues in positive or negative situations. Maintain a positive attitude within a fast-paced team environment, utilizing proprietary technology to assess field vehicles and continuing education requirements. Willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary under supervisor guidance. This role supports U-Haul's largest fleet of trucks and trailers, ensuring they perform to high standards for do-it-yourself movers nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work in fast-paced team environment
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools
- Understanding of automotive/trailer mechanics
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to maintain a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to work around moving parts, machines, fumes, or chemicals
- Ability to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields
