Job Summary
Automotive Experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop the dealership's sales team. Responsible for managing all areas of the sales department (wholesale, retail, purchasing, marketing), forecasting goals and expenses, negotiating and closing deals, ensuring high standards in vehicle delivery, and coaching staff to meet performance targets. Requires experience with automotive internet/retail tools (vAuto, Dealertrack, eLeads), a proven leadership track record, and ability to train and mentor a sales team while collaborating with the General Manager on inventory planning and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Three years or more of Sales Management experience
- Experience with automotive internet and retail tools such as vAuto, Dealertrack, and eLeads (plus)
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Goal-oriented with negotiation and price strategy abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to train and lead sales staff; set vision and goals; drive performance
- Experience in forecasting vehicle sales, gross profit, and expenses
- Ability to manage wholesale, retail, purchasing, and marketing within the sales department
- Authorized to work in the USA
- Ability to pass pre-employment background checks, MVR, and drug tests
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Proficiency in basic math and computer skills
- Compliance with dealership policies
