Automotive Engineer (Linux/Zephyr)

Job Summary
Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded systems and applications, including analyzing requirements and performing architecture, detailed design, and implementation. Develop, integrate, and maintain device drivers and low-level software components on Embedded Linux and/or Zephyr RTOS platforms. Design and implement OS abstraction layers (OSAL) to support software portability across different operating systems. Work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. This full-time on-site role in Ho Chi Minh City requires 3+ years of experience in Automotive Embedded Systems or Linux Embedded Systems.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Automotive Embedded Systems or Linux Embedded Systems
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ for HW Drivers, Linux Kernel, Embedded Software, Compiler, Bash/Shell Script and Makefile
- Experience with Embedded Linux Driver/Kernel/UBOOT development
- Experience with device driver development and low-level software programming
- Experience with Zephyr RTOS and OSAL (Operating System Abstraction Layer)
- Experience with Hardware Manuals, Schematics and Datasheets
- Experience with any AUTOSAR Classic Platform module (MCAL, BSW, ASW, BLE)
- Experience with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, CAN, LIN, FlexRay and Ethernet
- Experience with AUTOSAR Configuration Tools (e.g. DaVinci, ECU Spectrum)
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience with emulators, simulators, debugging and test equipment
- Good teamwork, communication and self-management skills
- English proficiency in reading and writing
- Full-time on-site role for an Embedded Software Engineer located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Renesas FSP (Flexible Software Package) for RA/RX/RZ platforms is highly preferred
- Experience with multi-tasking and multi-thread programming is a plus
