Job Summary
As a GSE Mechanic Level II, responsible for advanced maintenance and repairs on motorized and non-motorized Airline & Aircraft Ground Service Equipment. Key tasks include servicing equipment, inspecting and troubleshooting multiple systems (engines, electrical, hydraulic, etc.), operating and testing ground equipment, and adhering to safety protocols. Requires strong communication skills and the ability to effectively diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- 3 years of verified experience required
- Must provide their own tools and toolbox
- Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
- Flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
