Job Summary
Pre-scan vehicles, remove upholstery, electrical equipment, body panels, and trim while micro-bagging all hardware and small parts. Build and organize parts carts per company standards, document complex wire routing and component assembly with photos, and reassemble vehicles after repairs are completed. Perform light body repairs as needed and assist repair planners in writing complete estimates. Work full-time from 7:45 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, reporting to the Collision Center Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Tools to disassemble and reassemble vehicles
- Understanding of automobiles
- At least 1+ year of Automotive shop experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Periodic lifting and carrying objects over 50 pounds
- Reaching above and below shoulder level
- Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping to complete or inspect repairs
- Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination to operate equipment
- All candidates upon Offer of Employment will be required to submit to a Background Check
- Motor Vehicle Report to check for a valid driver license, prior citations/suspensions and total points on the license
