Job Summary
Seeking a skilled Automotive Diesel Technician for maintenance and repair of ambulances, ensuring safety and performance through expert troubleshooting and adherence to safety protocols. Requires High School Diploma/GED, extensive diesel technician experience, and strong mechanical knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 7 years as a Diesel Technician or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
- 1 year of Fleet Maintenance experience
- Strong understanding of diesel engine mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
- Able to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous tasks in various environments
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational/technical program in diesel technology preferred
- Current ASE certifications (minimum 5 with 9 or Master ASE preferred)
- Proficiency with diagnostic software (e.g., Cummins Insite, CAT ET)
