Job Summary
Seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to repair ambulances, requiring High School Diploma/GED, vocational training preferred, with 7 years experience in diesel technology and current ASE certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 7 years as a Diesel Technician or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
- 1 year of Fleet Maintenance experience
- Strong understanding of diesel engine mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
- Valid Oregon driver’s license and insurability
- Current ASE certifications (minimum 5 with 9 or Master ASE preferred)
- Able to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous tasks in various environments
- Strong analytical and attention to detail skills
- Effective communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational/technical program in diesel technology
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
