Job Summary
Diesel Technician at Lithia Ford Idaho Falls; perform repairs and maintenance on diesel engines in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards, diagnose diesel and engine-system faults, complete repairs documented on repair orders, road-test vehicles to verify quality, maintain tools, and work in a team-focused environment. Compensation includes flat rate pay of $35.00-$45.00 per hour (DOE) and comprehensive benefits such as medical/dental/vision, PTO, life insurance, 401(k), and career advancement opportunities. High school diploma or equivalent required; 18+ years old; valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Must align with company safety standards and deliver customer-focused service.
Required Qualifications
- Prior automotive repair experience preferred (diesel experience strongly preferred)
- ASE and/or manufacturer certifications a plus
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
