Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic needed to diagnose, maintain and repair diesel and gas-powered trucks, vans, and medium/heavy-duty vehicles; perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections; conduct test drives and make system adjustments; maintain service records and shop equipment; and conduct field repairs in various weather conditions. Requires 3-4 years of diesel or fleet mechanic experience, GED or high school diploma, valid driver's license, and own tools. Schedule is full-time (5:00 AM–1:30 PM). Compensation is $36–$42 per hour depending on DOE, plus benefits including PTO, holidays, health/dental/vision, life and disability insurance. Location: Lagrange, GA, US.
Required Qualifications
- 3-4 years' experience as a diesel or fleet mechanic
- GED or High School Diploma
- Valid driver's license
- Own tools
- Must pass background check
